Macau operators expected to maintain elevated promotion
CBRE forecasts continued customer reinvestment and margin pressure in the second half of 2026.

CBRE estimated that market-wide Macau casino commissions declined from US$1.65 billion in the first quarter of 2026 to US$1.57 billion in the second quarter.
The brokerage forecast approximately US$1.62 billion in the third quarter and US$1.73 billion in the fourth, equivalent to about 20.5% and 20.6% of gross gaming revenue.
These are analyst estimates rather than realised future spending. CBRE said customer reinvestment and higher operating costs continued to pressure concessionaire margins.
