A tourism proposal would add Clark and other destinations, with potential implications for integrated-resort visitation.

Philippine tourism officials said the government was working to extend visa-free entry for Chinese-mainland passport holders beyond Cebu and Manila to Bohol, Palawan, Clark, and Caticlan. The proposal remained subject to broader government approval.

The Department of Tourism reported 4.11 million foreign arrivals during the first eight months of 2026, up 3.7% year on year. Clark’s role as an airport, tourism hub, and casino-resort market makes the proposal relevant to integrated-resort visitation.

CasinooVerse describes this as a policy proposal, not an approved or implemented rule.

Article reading guide

Separate the reported fact from the surrounding meaning.

Every article should be read in layers. The headline and dek identify the subject; the body explains the evidence and limits; the source records show where the material originated; and related reading adds context without replacing the cited record.

01

Status and timing

Published and developing labels describe the editorial state, not the importance of a story. Publication and update dates show when the current version entered the record.

02

Source role

A regulator notice, company filing, trade report, research paper, and public-interest article perform different evidentiary roles. The source type helps readers understand that distinction.

03

Practical boundary

Market and game information is explanatory. It is not a prediction, recommendation, target price, winning system, or invitation to deposit money.
